Slow Flow Yoga

June 1, 2016

Wednesdays, 9-10:15am (75 minutes)

Thursdays, 6-7:15pm (75 minutes)

Looking for the yoga class to gain BOTH flexibility AND strength? This creative yoga practice seamlessly links breath and movement, and will keep you present as you learn to move gracefully in and out of asana. Each pose is experienced with centered and focused movement and is encouraged to find the depth and strength of long holds, which is why we label it "slow." The beginning of the class may be cardio based to increase your awareness, and the rest of the class will have you moving fluidly throughout your whole body. Modifications provided for any limitations.

Wednesdays 9-10:15am - Slow Flow Level 1: Best choice for beginners, however all practitioners are welcome to retune their understanding of yoga principles.

Thursdays 6-7:15pm - Slow Flow Level 2/3: invites students who are comfortable recognizing postures and moving in and out of asana. Inversions and peak postures will be explored.
